Controlled by Siemens PLC and touch screen interface, the SHWS-B horizontal slitter supports automatic meter counting, fixed-length stop and residual material alarm. Performance & Features
Equipped with Siemens PLC control system, it integrates automatic meter counting, residual material detection and alarm, as well as automatic shutdown at preset length. The system monitors the whole operation process in real time. It will sound an alarm and stop automatically when materials are insufficient or faults occur. This reduces material waste, ensures high slitting accuracy, minimizes manual errors and maintains stable and reliable equipment operation.
An independent shafted loading system is installed on the same side of the main unit. Manual handling of material rolls is no longer required for simple and efficient operation. It can bear loads over 1000 KG and is compatible with rolls of various specifications, greatly cutting labor intensity and improving feeding efficiency.
It is fitted with a dedicated single-side swing-out unloading arm. Upon machine shutdown, finished rolls will be automatically conveyed to the unloading arm without manual intervention. It greatly simplifies unloading work and is ideal for large-scale continuous production.
Built with a high-sensitivity automatic web guiding system. It corrects material deviation in real time even if the raw material has uneven edges, ensuring error-free slitting and preventing material wandering. The finished rolls feature uniform dimensions and neat edges for improved overall processing quality.
Adopting dual or triple servo motor drive, the motors deliver fast response and smooth, vibration-free operation. It perfectly synchronizes the running speed of slitting and rewinding, ensuring the entire process runs steadily without any deviation.
The maximum operating speed reaches 200 m/min. While retaining high slitting and rewinding precision, it effectively boosts production efficiency and fully meets the requirements of mass processing of roll materials.
The unwinding unit supports 3–6 inch air expanding shafts, and the rewinding unit is standard fitted with a 3-inch slip shaft. Custom sizes are available upon request. The standard maximum unwinding diameter is 1200 mm, and the rewinding diameter ranges from 600 mm to 800 mm. Machine width can also be customized to adapt to different production scenarios and processing requirements.
