A Gantry Slitting Machine is specifically developed for ultra-wide, large-diameter, and heavy-weight roll processing. Its gantry-style frame provides exceptional rigidity for stable, vibration-free operation when slitting wide master rolls. It performs longitudinal slitting and rewinding of wide films, paper, nonwoven fabrics, aluminum foil, and composite materials. A single pass can produce multiple finished rolls simultaneously, making it ideal for large-scale production. Applications span packaging base materials, advertising media, photovoltaic films, electrical insulation materials, and home textile nonwovens. Models include SHLM-S and SHKJ-C (small gantry).

Slitting machines are suitable for slitting and rewinding of various coiled materials, including plastic films (PET, OPP, PE, PVC, laminated film, aluminized film), assorted roll papers (kraft paper, masking paper, adhesive sticker paper, coated paper, glossy paper, wrapping paper, etc.) and other various rolled substrates.
Our high-speed slitting machine can reach a maximum running speed of 800m/min, and standard models can reach 200m/min and 400m/min. The actual production speed will be adjusted according to material thickness, width and slitting accuracy requirements. Generally, the stable running speed is 70%-80% of the rated speed. For example, 0.05mm thick PET film can run stably at 350m/min when the slitting width is above 50mm.
The vertical standard models feature winding diameters of 600 mm and 800 mm, with unwinding diameters of 800 mm and 1000 mm; the horizontal standard models have winding diameters of 600 mm, 800 mm, and 1200 mm, with unwinding diameters ranging from 1200 to 1600 mm. Different models support unwinding loads up to 1500 kg or even over 3000 kg. Customized solutions for specific dimensions and load requirements are available upon request.
Yes, slitting width can be customized, with the minimum slitting width down to 10mm. The number of simultaneously slit strips depends on the total material width and minimum slitting width. For example, a 1600mm wide machine can slit up to 32 strips of 50mm wide products.
Practical optional features include: 6-inch rewinding shaft (suitable for large-diameter rewinding), Automatic paper feeding tube (enhances production efficiency and accuracy); automatic blade leveling/milling mechanism (reduces manual adjustment time); automated packaging function (simplifies packaging process); automatic waste edge winding device, etc.
