The SHDG-S ground roller heavy jumbo slitting rewinder is specially designed for slitting and rewinding of extra-large rolls. It steadily processes kraft paper, white cardboard, coated paper, film-coated paper and silicone release paper with grammage from 30 to 500 g/m2. With full servo precision control, 3-ton hydraulic shaftless unwinding, and maximum speed of 800m/min, it meets the requirements for efficient slitting of high-grammage, large-diameter jumbo rolls.

Performance Features

Full Servo Precision Control for Smoother Operation

Equipped with full servo motors and an automatic constant tension system, the machine adopts a center winding structure. The main unit is fitted with a variable frequency speed regulator, enabling smooth acceleration and deceleration and delivering superior slitting accuracy across the full 0-800m/min speed range.

Intelligent PLC Control and Dual-Mode Rewinding

Built with an intelligent PLC control system, the machine supports automatic meter counting, automatic shutdown and alarm for residual material detection, and precise fixed-length shutdown. The rewinding system features both shafted and shaftless dual modes. Combined with hydraulic automatic unloading, it enables rapid roll change and greatly boosts productivity.

Imported High-Precision Web Guiding for Neat Finished Products

Fitted with a high-sensitivity imported automatic web guiding system (EPC), it achieves /-0.1mm guiding accuracy and stable high-speed slitting even for raw materials with uneven edges. The finished rolls feature smooth end faces, effectively improving product quality and reducing waste from edge offset defects.

Combined Circular Knife Slitting with Automatic Waste Edge Removal

The machine adopts a combined circular knife slitting structure, with automatic knife adjustment available as an optional accessory. Equipped with a high-pressure fan system for automatic waste edge discharge, it balances excellent slitting quality and high production efficiency without manual waste handling.

Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Loading with 3-Ton Capacity

The heavy-duty shaftless hydraulic loading mechanism has a load capacity of over 3 tons. It handles loading of various extra-large rolls up to 2000mm unwinding diameter easily, with high safety and stability for continuous mass production operations.

Flexible Multi-Specification Shaft Selection

3-6 inch air expansion shafts are optional for unwinding. A 3-inch shaft is equipped as standard for rewinding, and other special specifications can be customized on request. This flexibility allows the SHDG-S to adapt to different paper tube requirements across various converting applications.

Extra-Large Roll Diameter Compatibility

For standard models, the maximum unwinding diameter ranges from 0 to 2000mm, and the maximum rewinding diameter ranges from 0 to 1800mm. Custom roll diameters are available for specialized applications requiring even larger jumbo roll handling.

Flexible Dimensional Customization

The overall dimensions of the machine can be customized according to customers' factory layout and actual application requirements. Four standard width models (1600/2000/2500/3000mm) are available, with machine lengths ranging from 4950mm to 6350mm to accommodate different production floor configurations.

High-Speed Operation to Double Production Capacity

The maximum operating speed reaches 800m/min. It greatly increases output while ensuring processing precision, making it ideal for mass continuous production of jumbo paper rolls in high-volume converting facilities.
